Physical Description

At 4'11", Shael's 87 pound frame is quite slim, yet fairly muscular despite the lack of nutritional substance in days past, although one might think a hearty meal wouldn't hurt the girl. Her raven locks reach just to her shoulders and are layered haphazardly from dagger implemented beauty regimens. Natural curl provides a good camouflage, however. and the effect is a soft frame to her slim face. Her midnight blue eyes have the sparkle of gold characteristic of moon elves, but her skin has a golden hue that begs curiosity to her full elven heritage. Her nose is slender, her lips small but full. Atop her leather armor (when she wears it), Shael wears a wrapped skirt in a textured warm brown shade, accompanied by a sleeveless light weight tunic in a brigantine blue which laces tightly mid-chest and shows a hand's span of midriff. When the weather is cool, a similarly light long-sleeved peasant style shirt in a forest green is traded for the tunic, or worn underneath, as well as close fitting leggings in the same green. Short deerskin boots complete the ensemble. A worn leather pack rests upon her back, and is decorated liberally with hand penned scribbles and drawings - animals, weapons, celestial bodies, runes, etc. Her love of art is apparent in the runes carved into the wood of her crossbow, which is fastened to the pack along with a similarly decorated quiver of bolts. A nondescript long sword hangs from her right hip inside a sheath that is somewhat less covered in doodles. A soft leather pouch is attached to her belt on the opposite side, and oval stone pendant in an opaque aquamarine hue rests within the hollow of her throat. It is bound with leather lacing, and fits snugly around her neck.

Personality

Shael is exuberant and talkative - overly so at times, which often gets her into trouble, along with the fact that she says what she thinks. Even so, she's likable in her friendly, flirtatious nature. Somewhat on the edge of maturity, Shael can be complicated. It's often hard to tell where the youthful elf ends, and the woman begins.

 This is a pic I drew myself with pencil.. I inked and scanned it, and then colored it in using Paint Shop Pro 5.

This one was found by Lorneson's DM (thanks Steve!!). He thought it looked a lot like her, and after a bit of editing in PSP to get the hair the right color and length, I took a great liking to it. So, here it is... I figure it's maybe a more grown up version of Shael. *wink*
